Going to college is more expensive than ever. At Pacific Northwest Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons, we want to help. Our first annual Wisdom for Wisdom program is designed to provide one deserving student with the opportunity to make their textbooks for the upcoming academic year more affordable by offsetting the cost with a free wisdom tooth extraction procedure.
The application period for the Wisdom for Wisdom program is now closed.

“As a student at Green River Community College working hard towards a degree in Marketing and Entrepreneurship with aspirations to start up a business of my own, I can’t afford to trouble myself with unnecessary headaches – or toothaches. Unfortunately, my wisdom teeth have been a source of such needless pain, but I equally wish to avoid the agony of spending much-needed funds on surgery when college texts already incur so much financial cost. This is all coupled with the fact that I have four younger brothers that my parents need to provide for at home, including one who was just born two months ago, partially contributing to why I’ve put off the wisdom tooth removal procedure for so long. And due to a recent kitchen accident (involving a rogue can opener and a dangerous can of chick peas) that resulted in me needing 1,000 stitches in my hand (ok, maybe nine or ten stitches), I’ve already been greatly inconvenienced by a large, unexpected, emergency room expense. Fortunately, I can plan for the wisdom teeth procedure, and that is why I would be greatly appreciative of receiving financial assistance in getting my wisdom teeth removed. If I were selected for free wisdom tooth removal through the Wisdom for Wisdom program, it would mean to me a much easier time living my personal and educational life without the stress of either aching wisdom teeth or equally painful medical bills. Thank you for considering me for your program!”
